Beschreibung

The STEVAL-ILL066V1 evaluation board is acomplete and configurable solution that efficientlycontrols a single dimmable high brightness LEDstring using the STLUX385A digital controller.The LED efficiency is high during all stages ofdimming and the STEVAL-ILL066V1 can achievea 92% efficiency during full load while maintaininga low < 200 mW power consumption during idleperiods.The STLUX385A device handles a primary sideregulated power conversion stage as well as allthe supported communication links.The power conversion stage consists of a PFCregulator followed by a “Zero Voltage Switching”(ZVS) LC resonant stage. The high precisiondimming is adjusted using a primary sideregulation (PSR) control technique.The LED brightness can be dimmed by controllingthe LED current down to a very low level.The STEVAL-ILL066V1 evaluation boardprovides all the physical communicationinterfaces such as a DALI, insulated 0-10 andUART. All the communication is managed by theSTLUX385A device. The UART interface andSTLUX385A flexibility allow to quickly connect theSTEVAL-ILL066V1 to alternative interfaces suchas Wi-Fi, power line modems, Bluetooth® andZigbee®.
