Beschreibung

The AP65550 is an adaptive on-time modesynchronous buck converter providing highefficiency, excellent transient response andhigh DC output accuracy for low-voltageregulation in digital TV and monitor.The constant-on-time control schemehandles wide input/output voltage ratios andprovides low external component count. Theinternal proprietary circuit enables thedevice to adopt both low equivalent seriesresistance (ESR) output capacitors, such asSP-CAP or POSCAP and ultra-low ESRceramic capacitors.The adaptive on-time control supportsseamless transition between continuousconduction mode (CCM) at higher loadconditions and discontinuous conductionmode (DCM) at lighter load conditions.DCM allows AP65550 maintain highefficiency at light load conditions. TheAP65550 also features programmable softstart,UVLO, OTP and OCP to protect thecircuit.This IC is available in SO-8EP package.
